Grand Oasis Riviera, Akumal

The hotel has a beautiful beach and modern amenities, but the room management and dining options left much to be desired. While the staff is generally pleasant, the service structure needs improvement and the restaurant reservation process can be inconvenient. For the price, the overall experience didn't quite match our expectations, especially with some misleading room categories.

We had a great time at the resort, which is beautifully laid out for ocean views from almost everywhere. The staff at the coffee shop were exceptionally friendly, and we enjoyed most of the dining options. However, the service at one restaurant was disappointingly slow, and the availability of certain amenities was a bit confusing. All in all, it was a decent experience and provided good value for what we paid.

I had a wonderful time at this hotel, especially because of its close proximity to the Tulum ruins and Akumal beach, where I enjoyed swimming with turtles. The staff were attentive, and while I found the food at the steakhouse and Carreyes to be delightful, the towels provided during my stay could have been cleaner. The overall experience was great for the price, but a few improvements are needed.
